How to reach us
From Bologna
The easiest road is undoubtedly the S.S. 64 Porrettana. Starting from Casalecchio di Reno, direction Porretta Terme - Pistoia, you will pass the towns of Sasso Marconi, Marzabotto, and Vergato. After passing the hamlet of La Carbona, before entering the tunnel, turn right for Riola di Vergato. Once in the town center, cross the bridge towards Rocchetta Mattei, Ponte di Verzuno. After passing the Rocchetta Mattei Castle, you reach Ponte di Verzuno, cross the bridge (direction Camugnano) and past Alimentari Luana, take the second road on the left (there is a white sign indicating Vigo, B&B Camelia is 1.5 km away, once you arrive in Verzuno where there is the sign written Capanne Vigaia turn left and immediately after you have arrived.
From Florence
Take the A1 Motorway. Take the 'Variante di Valico' and exit at Badia. Follow the signs for Castiglione dei Pepoli, and subsequently Camugnano. Pass the town of Camugnano and after about 1.5 km, on the left there is a tower house with signs for “Torre di Roda” and a little further on there is a road that goes up to the right. It passes through the woods. Go straight on, (do not turn right, but continue for Guerzano). At the crossroads follow the sign for Verzuno go forward until the sign for Capanne Vigaia turn right and you have arrived. If you do not see the road going up towards the woods, proceed to Carpineta and Ponte di Verzuno. Just before the Post Office (before the bridge), the road goes up to Vigo (not the one for La Scola). There is also the sign for Vigo continue for 1.5 km turn left where there is the sign written Capanne Vigaia and you have arrived.
By Train
B&B Camelia is 5 Km from Riola station. From Bologna, a train leaves every hour (direction Porretta Terme). The journey takes about 45 minutes and runs along the Reno river valley. Outside Riola station there is a taxi service; alternatively, it is possible to arrange a transfer service with the B&B owners.
